Consignors 

What do I have to do to Consign?

First you need to sign up. (Links Below) Then you will be issued a Consignor #, schedule your drop off appointment,  March 18 - March 22, 2012, gather together your items (a minimum of 20), then you will need to tag all of your items and get them ready to be dropped off, then drop them off and we do the rest!!

All Consignors will be able to attend both our Consignor Pre-View Night Sale Friday, March 23, 2012 and our Consignor Discount Pre-View Sale. Thursday, March 29, 2012.

**We CAN accept tags from other sales as long as they are My Sale Manager (MSM) software managed. You just need to contact your current sale and ask that sale to contact My Sale Manager to consent for your inventory to be transferred, then let us know and we can then get your inventory transferred over to The Munchkins Market.** 


New Consignor Registration
 (new consignors only)
     

New consignors will need to register as a consignor.  Upon registration, you will be assigned a consignor number.             

Consignor Homepage Log-In (returning consignors)      

The consignor homepage allows you to register as a returning consignor, update your consignor information, work with your consigned inventory, volunteer to work, and schedule a drop off time. After logging in, you can go directly to the Work with Your Consigned Inventory page where you can add items, edit items already entered, delete items, print tags, view or print an inventory list for the items you are consigning, and view your sold items.

 

Here are some guidelines and suggestions for preparing, packaging, pricing, and tagging your acceptable items.

Make sure all clothing is of the appropriate season, Spring/Summer for this sale, has been washed, (and ironed, if needed) and is correctly placed on the hanger (Please See Diagram below).

Remember, all clothing should be of current style and season. (within the last three years) No clothing with pet hair, rips, stains, tears, discolored, or outdated will be accepted.

  All Ribbons should be tied, buttons, snaps, and zippers should be closed and in working order. The better your items look the faster they’ll sell!

 You must print your tags on cardstock paper (does not matter what color). It is very important to use heavy weight cardstock, which can be found at local discount or office supply stores (walmart, target, office depot, staples, etc...). Lighter weight paper won't stand up to repeated handling of the items. It is extremely important to attach tags in a secure manner with safety pins. After all your hard work entering and pinning items, you don't want the tag to become separated or lost. WE CAN'T SELL ITEMS WITHOUT TAGS -- NO TAG NO SALE. We would have no way of knowing to whom the item belongs. 

  • For Clothing attach tags with safety pins to the top right hand side of the clothing (as you're looking at it hanger should look like a ?). NO LITTLE PINS, Ouch!!. Large pins only!! NO STRAIGHT PINS!!!!

                                                           

 

 

  • Shoes must be like new quality. No stained, worn looking, or torn shoes will be accepted. Shoes should be zip tied together and tag attached trough zip tie (zip ties can be found in the hardware section of walmart or even dollar tree.) and tape over tag to double secure with shipping tape. We will not be accepting shoes in zip-lock bags.

 

  • Bedding must be clean and stain free and must be in a clear bag with the barcoded tag pinned to the outside. Large Zip-lock bags work GREAT if you don't have the original bag. Also, make a hand written tag and attach to your bag with description, consignor #, and price just in case your barcode tag is separated from your bag.

     

  •  Toys must be clean, and in good working order, and complete with all parts including batteries. Toys that require batteries must have them or they will not be accepted. Small, loose parts can be packaged in a sealed Zip-lock bag and attached to the main item with clear packing tape. Please make sure if you have large items with multiple pieced that each piece has a tag on it (print one barcoded and hand write the other with all info on it and label, Tag 1 of 3, Tag 2 of 3, etc...) 

  • Equipment, high-chairs, pack-n-plays, cribs, furniture, beds, dressers, desks, etc... must have all pieces, be clean, in working order, and not be out-of-date or on re-call list. All items must be assembled by you at drop off. Assembled furniture/equipment sells faster and goes for a higher price. Also, attach your barcoded tag in a visible area and place a hand written tag under the bottom or some other less visible area so that we will know who it belongs to in case your tags get separated from your item. Always double tag large items.

 

  •   Car Seats DO NOT BRING a car seat that meets any of the following criteria: more than 5 years old, subject to recall, involved in an accident, has missing parts, has frayed straps, or is soiled/stained.   • Dvds, VHS, CDs, Console Games must have the original cases. We will not accept videos, dvds, or console games that are not with their original cases. Please print two tags for ALL DVD's and Console Games. Tape 1 tags to the outside of your case and place your DVD/Game with another tag in a ziplock bag. We file ALL DVD's/Console Games in a Expandable file and keep them behind the registers to prevent theft. (**Please Note Changes for these items**) 

 

  •  Books please be sure that all pages and binding is in tack. Also, if a book was published on or before 1985, or is a vinyl baby book it cannot be accepted because of the CPSIA laws. Please secure tags to individual books or secure bundles and attach tag to the back of your bundle.

  •  Mattresses must be in excellent condition. No stained or torn mattresses will be accepted. ALL ITEMS MUST be checked for recalls. You can check for re-calls at:

    **After you have gotten ALL of your items ready, and you are ready to drop off, please make sure that your items are in size and gender order when you get to Drop-off. This make it easier for both us and you to go through, and put out on the sales floor.**
