Workers

If you volunteer to work with The Munchkins Market, you get to shop before anyone else. Also, you will receive up to two additional guest passes for your friends/Family to shop with you at our pre-view sales and also receive 75% of your sales.

You DO NOT have to be a Consignor to volunteer to work! Without WONDERFUL volunteers like YOU, our sale would not be possible!!

Our Volunteers do things like sorting clothes, organizing, rack set-up, rack tear down, helping customers, de-tagging, etc...

Register to Work

Volunteers have several working options:

Work one shift (4 hours) and you get to shop at the Worker’s Preview-Sale and the Worker’s Half-Price Sale.
Work two shifts (8 hours) and you get to shop at the Worker’s Early Preview-Sale and the Worker's Half-Price Sale.
Work three shifts or fill in (12 hours) and you get to shop Worker’s Earliest Preview-Sale and the Worker's Early Half-Price Sale.

We also offer "trade shift" options for those who don't have the time to work more than a four hour shift such as:

Providing at least (5) 6-8 ft folding tables, clothing racks, rolling racks, shelving, etc... for use during the sale (will return at pick-up).
Providing shopping bags, at least 200-400. Can be small grocery bags to large department store bags. We need lots of both.
Boxes, small, Medium, and Large, at least 75-100.
Providing meals and/or snacks for volunteer workers, at least 10-12 people. (ex: Pizza, sandwiches, wraps, snack mixes, chips, fruit, etc...)
Provide drinks, utensils, napkins, ice, paper plates, etc...for at least 10-12 people.
Delivering Flyers/Posters in your city (at least 100) before sale date
Printing flyers, banners, t-shirts, road signs, etc...
Moving trucks, U-hauls, trailers, etc...to transport all of our equipment to and from our Sale.
Volunteering Husbands to help with set-up/tear down.
Media Advertising, (Newspapers, E-mail, Magazines, TV, etc...)

Double-shift workers may only substitute one "trade shift." (4 hours) The other shift hours must be worked at the Sale.

Are you able to Split a Shift with your Husband, mother, sister, etc...? Yes, as long as you make sure that ALL hours are worked and that you have signed in correctly so that you receive credit for your hours. We especially need Husbands during set up and tear down.

When volunteering you will be doing things like setting up/tearing down, organizing, sorting clothing, de-tagging, bagging, monitoring the sales floor, running items to "SOLD AREA", helping customers, straightening up, etc...

NOTE: Please call or email us at least 48 hours or 2 days before your scheduled shift if you are unable to work your volunteer shift. This will save you from being penalized. In the event that you are a "NO SHOW" for your shift, you will be penalized 50% of your total sales and you will be unable to participate in future sales.
